Counting Down

This is a video that has two parts. The first piece is done by the small ensemble that I am in. You may recognize the popular tune Under the Boardwalk. The beginning is off because the sopranos who came in on the wrong note. Barb and I are singing the melody. "Oh when the sun beats down...." So listen for me! I sing alto. There are only a few of us there. The second part consists of the entire choir. The piece is entitled Let Everything That Hath Breath. I am not quite fond of it, but hey, it was the best out of all the pieces that were sung. If you want to view the entire concert, contact me. My friend posted videos on Youtube. 
This week started out OK. The concert was alright. I wasn't too thrilled, but now that it's over I believe I'll miss singing in an ensemble. We are singing at graduation. So rehearsals are not over yet.
Nothing new happened yesterday, of course. I tried looking for flowers for Adam's dad. He kindly helped me get stickers off the guitar I bought. My friend had put them on there good. But now it's sticker free. I just figured out how to put the distortion on. It sounds pretty good. He also made a new cable out of an old cable he had. The guitar cable my friend gave me was broken!!!!
I cannot wait till the end of this semester! I just want to be done. But I know I wont fail out of MCC. It just shouldn't be possible.... Here's what I have to do for the week.

• ENGLISH: Paper 3 (stupid research paper) and analyze 3 stories by Jorge Luis Borges 
• MUSIC APPREC: study for test
• GERMAN: Schiller lab paper and two Powerpoint presentations; Hans Zimmer and Hamburg
• JAZZ: look over music for the concert

The rest of the week goes as follows:

Today: tutoring at 11:30 AM - class at 4 PM
Wednesday: classes all day from getting there at 10 AM up until the concert at 7 PM - My english paper is due
Thursday: Go to my high school choir director and get some music that Barb and I are working on for her recital - class at 4 PM - Beth Finke will be at my college so I will be visiting with her that night.
Then I am home free for the weekend! Yay!!!

I just need these next two weeks to go by. Actually I have 10 school days until summer.

I'd Rather Play Guitar All Day

I am currently researching for my paper due tomorrow. I don't want to fail English for the third time. So I think if I have to, I'll pull an allnighter. Anyone know about Jorge Luis Borges and reviews on his works? I still believe that I am bored with this topic. Can't complain though because I got an extension. I also will be presenting 
I am also considering joining MCC's gym. I registered for the one credit course in the fall where all one must do it show up and work out. There is a free consultation and personalization process. Also you can work with a trainer for 30 mins as many times as you want in the semester....
In 17 hours, I have another concert... Oh jeez... *grin*
