People Annoy Me

So the rest of Saturday was kind of a bust for me. The morning was great. We (Jim, Adam, and I) returned from a photo escapade (which was loads of fun) and then went to brunch with Sarah and Jessica. I went downstairs at 11:40 AM to wait for Freedom Mobile. I was scheduled to meet with R, a former student at GDF and now retired her dog. However, 11:55 rolled around and there was no bus. I called them and they said that I wasn't written in the book. What the FUCK!~? I called them 16 hours in advance and scheduled a ride. Not to mention, they failed to tell me that I was scheduling a ride during a shift change. I mean, c'mon.... common courtesy says tell the rider that they can't schedule a ride at that time... I would've found another way. So, there I stood, angry, and very irritated. R was waiting for me. Sarah called people and Ryan's girlfriend drove me to Lincoln Inn. R seemed irritated. I don't blame her. I was half an hour late. We had a nice chat about dogs and college among other things. I ordered a turkey provolone sandwich with fries and water. It was good after I apologized a zillion times. Jim and I walked back to R's work and I got to meet her retired guide Tony. What a sweetie he is! It was around 2:30 PM when I called Freedom back for a ride back to campus. I had called them during another shift change. Damn it!!! So I decided to get over my fear of Lincoln Highway and I walked back. It was a mile walk. I had to cross a lot of busy streets. But, it was a great experience. Jim was excellent!! I was slightly wary, but Jim helped me get over it. We got back to campus at 2:45 PM. Nifty and quick! Yes! I met up with Adam and Sarah. We went back to my dorm. I called Freedom again to schedule a ride for 3:45 PM to go to Michael's and Steve & Barry's. Fortunately, they responded this time and we were promptly picked up at 3:45. I left Jim because he was tuckered out like no other. Poor thing... He deserved a rest.. He walked over a mile and we've been walking everyday like that for the past 3 days. We arrived at Michael's. Adam helped Sarah find some of her stuff. I kind of didn't like it because I felt he was getting too close to her. Sometimes it's irritating for me to stand there and watch him interact and help other girls even though the other girl is one of my best friends. Perhaps I'm just paranoid and shouldn't over-think it. Still... I don't like the boy getting too close. She can do her project on her own. Sarah paid for her items and we made our way across the busy street to Steve & Barry's. The one in De Kalb is closing so there is a huge sale. Adam actually bought two shirts! I'm proud of him... He never spends money on clothes. Sarah bought a wrist band thing. I didn't find anything I wanted to buy. I was mucho disappointed. We walked over to Borders because Sarah had to look for a passage in a book. Sheesh - one could do that on their own time, but no... we stood there anyway.. *sigh* Oh well... After that, I called Freedom back and told them we wanted to be picked up at Buffalo Wild Wings. I ate there for the first time. They have good stuff. We walked there from Borders. I was indecisive so Sarah and Adam ordered a Big Jack Daddy burger for me. It was a humongous BBQ pork burger with fried onions, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and cheddar jack cheese. There was a side of fries and a drink of Mr. Pibb. *smile* So good..... and so filling... Not to mention, expensive.. But *sigh* good... Sarah's friend Bob said hello to us because he works at BWW. Freedom picked us up around 6:55 PM. Sarah hurried off and Adam and I returned to my room and I fell asleep after being on the computer for half an hour. I found two songs I wanted to learn how to play on the piano. Cool beans... *smile* We were asleep for about 3 hours and then I woke up around 11:30 PM. I've been up ever since. Adam fell back asleep again. Oh well... Overall, today I met a new friend and I ate good food... Enjoying the fall is just part of the swing of things now that it's October...
