It's been awhile since I posted last. I know that people may be curious as to if all of my issues got resolved. I could say yes and I could say no... For the most part, no. It's kind of sucky, but I'll deal. I've also been having a lot of trouble sleeping. I've been going to bed at nasty hours of the morning. I think it's not so good... No one should go to bed past 4 AM all the time.

However, the second week of classes wasn't so bad... I should of had three days of class, but I only had two.

Here's the layout of what went on around here:

  • Monday: I did nothing all day. I was supposed to hang out with someone, but they couldn't make it. So, I milled around my house until 8 PM when my friend (and ride) Kelsey came and picked me up. We arrived back at school, put away our stuff, and went to DQ for ice cream. I had a very tasty medium oreo and Heath Blizzard with chocolate ice cream. Hehe, I love ice cream.
  • Tuesday: I really didn't want to go to MUSC 220. Like I said, I love music and everything about it, but this professor is just so nutty and strict. He's only obsessed with classical music, screams at people for yawning, and does all of the examples of pieces on the violin. One can tell he's obviously a string player. *sigh* I don't know how much longer I'll last. I pretty much did nothing else but watch some TV and surf the net. Adam and I had a tussle again and I wasn't able to sleep well at all.
  • Wednesday: I went to bed at 8 AM and didn't wake up until 2 PM. I realized that I had a reading session to attend to in 40 minutes. The reading session was enjoyable because I was the only one who could read the Braille fast. People were kind of stunned. But then again, I don't blame them. Not many of them had prior Braille experience. Class afterwards was informative and interesting. It almost seems like it's too much, but it's not. I'm happy to be enrolled in a course that challenges me and is interesting. Yay for a good semester, I hope! I met up with Michaela who noticed Jim and we talked for a bit. I let my friend borrow my red drill book for her reading session. I had gone back to my room to let Jim out and get my things for the next class. I was late coming back. She had left it on the chair. I had trouble finding it and getting to my next class on time. I made it, but with very few minutes to spare. TLSE 240 dragged on. I really wish I wasn't stupid last year and felt it necessary to slack just because of the events that happened. The lecture ended at 8:30 PM and I left. I spent the rest of the evening indulging in MONK on TV and drinking tea.
  • Thursday: Jim had somehow found his way on my bed. I awoke with a feeling of claustrophobia and a huge lump of fur near my knees. I had to push him off. He was snoring loudly. Sarah invited me to lunch. It was raining and I really didn't want to go to my music class. I knew what they were going to talk about. Thirty minutes after class started, I trudged out of my dorm and slipped on a puddle. Frustrated, I went back inside. Screw class for today. Yes, my first confession about skipping my first class of the semester. Bad me... bad.. bad... whatever.. the prof is a prick.. Andrea and I decorated my room with posters that I had to put up. We used old duct tape.... It didn't turn out too well. The posters kept falling down. Apparently the walls hate old tape. They stayed up for the time that Andrea and I were watching a bit of 10th Kingdom. After she left, I continued watching and one of the posters fell down, then the others fell down. I scavenged for some double sided tape which I doubted that I had. Voila! There it was! I cut squares and put my posters up that way. They haven't fallen down since.
I had fallen asleep at 4 AM and woke up at noon on this crisp, gloomy Friday morning with Jim next to me again. It's funny. When I'm on the bed, he paws me and jumps into bed and lies down next to me, but when I'm not on the bed, he doesn't go near it. Sarah called me to invite me to lunch. I agreed to accompany her. They were serving nachos. It was OK until I started putting my drinks down and let one slip out of my hand and spill. I must be extremely tired, but at least I ate. I came back to my room and was on the computer till now.

I am expecting today to be very laid back. Adam is coming for his first visit of the year. I'm relieved because that may straighten things out between us. I was supposed to go to the NIU vs. WMU football game to visit [livejournal.com profile] read2781 and meet her pup, but I found out that there is no fan bus to Michigan and I can't afford to take a greyhound bus if they're charging $30 a person. Adam and I will probably chill. I'm not sure if I'm attending a dance that is hosted by Prism scheduled for tonight from 10 PM - 1 AM. It depends on if Barb is coming. I really don't want to make it awkward for Adam so I wont go unless Barb is coming with me. Adam will have to deal on his own if I do go though. I don't want him to come with.

Anyway, hopefully today will be a productive day. I have homework and a lot of other stuff to do. *Gag* I hope everything turns out the way I want it. Now time to do homework and practice the guitar.

Are there other games between NIU and WMU here in Kalamazoo during the season?

What about between NIU and WMU but at your college? Maybe WMU will have a fan bus going up there.

No, I checked the schedule. NIU is not playing WMU again this season.
