Not too thrilled about this slump I'm in.
Although I must say, some of the things I've accomplished this week make me feel so much better about myself.
Jim did not get his bath. Instead, he will be getting groomed on Tuesday morning.
I have a slight problem. Many of my friends say they want his eyebrows and beard restored like the previous months before he was shaved in April. I want him all the way shaved, but recall that his head looked rather shriveled compared to his body. It looked one size too small. Alas, life with a LP cross... I need to make a decision by Tuesday.
I had my meeting with Bev about the personal development seminar I will be conducting with her. She said she wanted me to write a brief outline of what I will be speaking about. My ideas include bringing in a student panel and talking a lot about Jim. This is very exciting. From what she said, it will be about an hour. Hurray for productivity!
Everything with financial aid is in order. Although I do have to send a copy of my award letter to DRS. This can be easily accomplished. Not to mention, I will go another semester without having any fees to pay off. Money for school is also a nice bonus to my summer.
The big news when it comes to summer academia is that I withdrew from my online history class. Fortunately for me, this doesn't penalize my GPA. I'd rather have a W than an F on my transcript anyway. Sure, the money will not return to my pocket, but at least I know I made an effort. Geography is a lot more manageable without history. I'm sure my grade will be decent enough.
The two best days of my week were Thursday and Friday. Both of those days were filled with smiles.
This week will be spent finishing homework for geography and figuring out the rest of my fall schedule.

So far I'm enrolled in:
~physical fitness - worth one credit, this course basically gives me unlimited access to the indoor gym facility at MCC. I am given as many half hour sessions with a personal trainer. Not to mention, there is no definite class time so I'm not restricted to a certain period when I have to be there.
~Jazz ensemble - same as last semester, I'm with MB again. He's so cool. Not to mention, I'm not afraid to solo anymore.
~Voice lesson - one credit, a scheduled voice lesson for half an hour. This takes place at the home of NS. She is one of the best teachers in our area. Lessons will be once a week.
~ Intro to psych - I'm rather excited about this course. I was considering minoring in psych. I believe I will do well in this course.
~German 251 - Same teacher, same material. It's German. I'll do fine.
~U.S. Government - sounds interesting... but I don't know how much I can get into it. It is, however, immediately after and right next door to my psych classroom. Jim's gonna have problems with this one... Heh - Yeah right..

It looks like I only have class from Monday through Wednesday. Which, is very exciting. I'll have a full 12 credit hours. I was considering fencing. However, they want me enrolled in a science course. I'll have to contact my advisor later today to discuss what I should do.
