Happy Fourth of July!!!
Jul. 4th, 2009 02:05 amHappy Fourth of July!!!
I finally fell asleep at around 5:30 this morning! I'm awake now. Holy shit - it's getting worse every day. Hopefully tomorrow's day full of traveling will help me sleep. So psyched for convention!
I was a bad girl in the stereotypical Asian world. I didn't do much of my geography homework that was due last night at 11:55 PM. I failed to turn anything in. Although, I am fortunate to have such a nice professor. Maybe online classes aren't my thing. I can't make myself do any of the work. I have, however, been reading the text. I am once again behind. Convention is coming up very soon. I hope to get all this work done before I leave. I wouldn't want to carry extra books if I don't have to. This is an incentive for me to do all my work by the end of today. Even though it is one of America's biggest holidays, the beginning of the day is never exciting.
I purchased a few materials that I will be bringing to the convention.
I might have an issue getting transportation to Chicago. The best method may be to ask my father for a ride to downtown Chicago and then catch the bus. Once I get on the bus, I'll ask the driver if it is at all possible for him/her to drop me off at the Ren Center. I don't know the number for a cab and I heard from my father that Detroit is very dangerous at night. Not to mention, my confidence isn't exactly very high when I have a dog and all my luggage with me. One way or another, Sunday will work out and I will have a wonderful convention.
Yesterday was my day to do homework, well read materials, and go to the Lakeside festival also known as the Gala. I have two remaining tickets and $8 more dollars to spend. Hopefully I wont blow it off on something stupid. I know for a fact that I want to ride the Zipper. That ride is one of few that I actually enjoy.
OK, bad girl should really work on her homework. *grin*
