Jim's appointment went really well. He's healthy and there are no problems with his joints or his hips. The vet said that he was slightly overweight. I completely disagree. Jim lost almost 4 pounds since I've had him. He left GDF weighing 82 lbs and now he is at 78.8 lbs. I don't see why they want him at 75. He'd be too skinny. Not to mention, I can't feel an ounce of fat on his ribs and he's definitely not too skinny either. He's perfect at this weight.
I also went to the library and returned the CD and purchased a penny whistle from Player's Bench. Reason being that it's an interesting instrument and I was going to be bored at convention in some times.![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
fiddle_pup and I had a great conversation about which whistle I should purchase. She's so wonderful and I'm glad she's having a good time in Ireland. I'm bringing my harmonica and the penny whistle. I plan on playing whenever I have the spare time. I'll also have to do homework at some point too. I'll probably end up doing it in the morning considering I have things to do in the evening.
Lastly, I received my eBay package in the mail. I was woken up by the doorbell. I was lucky I caught her because she was about to leave. The bag itself is alright. I thought the strap would be bigger. Although It's a nice bag overall. Maybe I fit wrong with the bag. I'm really glad it got here before I left for convention.
Tomorrow brings chill time with Sarah and the lakeside festival. I know I'll have fun there. I'm not going to take Jim because I'm afraid he'll eat something off the ground while being sneaky and people will pet him. I do not doubt that his behavior will be problematic if I did bring him. I just want to stay on the safe side and keep him home. I will not bring him to Sarah's because one of her dogs doesn't get along with other dogs.
Lastly, Jim's birthday is coming up. I've already purchased his present. So, I can't spoil him anymore. I'm starting to run out of cash. Our one year anniversary as a team is also approaching. I'm so happy I have Jim. He's been such a big part of my life.
