Saturday Situation

Fortunately for me, CY allowed me to stay all this time at her apartment. I am so unbelievably grateful and in debt to her. I've utilized all that she offered me. It was incredibly nice of her to accept me on such short notice. I also owe her pup a toy because Jim chewed the rope one that she already had. I had a good night's sleep, enough to keep me going through the night.

I'll be home late and tomorrow brings American Idol. I'm still rather unsure about my participation when it comes to an actual audition. There's already a message that one of my friends is there. Sweet... *smile* I know it's Father's Day tomorrow, but it just couldn't be done today. Today will be full of parties in the evening and a bridal shower in the daytime. I got what I needed to accomplish in Dekalb for the most part.

I am thrilled to have a chance to travel to Chicago. Barb, however, has to work at 2 PM. She's deciding if she wants to call in. American Idol auditions happen only once a year if that. I hope everything goes well. If Barb's not going, then I'm not going to go. What's the point in going alone?
