c_for_chaos: (Happiness = Music)
This week has been a little crazy, but it's finally fall and it's finally October. I love the autumn. There's nothing but good smells and good things IMO. However, I got my F for a Brailler assignment but got an A for a slate and stylus assignment. Mur.... Also wondering why LJ doesn't have rich text formatting option anymore...

Monday: Nothing special - normal Braille class and english... My english teacher doesn't hate me. Thank god.... Milled around and looked for stuff to do. I have papers to write and such. It's kind of sucky because I don't want to do mountains of english assignments. I also seem to be slacking just a bit in Braille. Not my fault.... LOL - it sucks a crapload to sit and do braille homework instead of hanging out with your friends....

Tuesday: Took a test for Music... I actually got up semi early and got some stuff done. LOL - 10:30 AM is early IMO. I got to music late so I missed some listening... Could've gotten some extra points if I was there earlier.... Then, in the middle of the test, the front lights are shut off so it's really dim. So I ask the prof that I can't see. He asked if I could take it in the lobby. I said yes. My friend was already out there. It was so loud and ridiculous... I was infuriated... I went to see someone at the student center... She wasn't there... Then my friend Ryan, Sarah, her fish Dilinger, Jim, and I went to places. I went to Walmart and returned the optical computer mouse I bought. It was too short. Hopefully my family knows where the wireless one is... I would really like that one... I bought food for myself instead. Yay! Sarah went to Petco to see what was wrong with Dilinger. Ryan and I went to Best Buy to look for Rocky Horror Picture Show. We didn't find it. Then we met up with Sarah at Petco. She just needs to change the water for Dilinger and they think he will be fine. We ate Portilo's on the way back. I sat around and did slate and stylus homework all that night.

Wednesday: I woke up and did more slate and stylus homework. Sucky... I went to class dreading it, thinking oh shit... I failed again... Jim was sleeping and dreaming again in class. His tail was wagging again and he was halfbarking.. *smile* What a cutie! Class ended and I headed back to my dorm. I ate some soup and fed Jim. We went back to Graham and went to TLSE 240. The lecture stretched on for 2 hours. Then I skipped out after class was over. I took the bus with Christie and we went to her house. Pizza was ordered and it arrived there when we got there. Good timing pizza man! We were eating and talking for a long time. When there was only an hour left before Freedom mobile was coming back for me, we decided to make chocolate chip cookies. Um - huge mistake... LOL - We got all the ingredients, but I didn't read the directions... *laugh* We mixed everything into one HUGE bowl. WRONG!!! ROFL - Christie and I didn't stop laughing until the cookies were in the oven. Freedom arrived so I didn't get to taste our possibly nasty concoction. Christy says they're not bad cookies, but I wont believe her until I try one for myself.

Thursday: I was up early again and by early I mean 10:30 AM. I hung out with Andrea because it was our day. It's fun talking to and hanging out with her. We ran errands. I got my guitar stand and a laminated sign for my door asking people to ignore Jim. I got to music class just in time to get my test back. Of course, as I predicted I got a 48%. I didn't study. But you know what makes me angry? The fact that my friend can cheat because he can see and I can't. So even if he didn't study, he can still get away with a high C. His friend let him look off her paper. What the hell? I know more about music that he does... and yet... he gets a better grade. I got a bad grade because I didn't care to study. My bad, I know.... But I'm still irked about the entire situation. There is also a seat issue. I have Jim and he needs his space. There is a table at the back of the room but my friend and his friend sit at the table while I'm crammed in a corner.. What the heck? He has ADD and a laptop... He doesn't need an entire table... There are outlets elsewhere. He's just playing computer games the entire time anyway... Class was boring as usual... I told my friend he can go without me because I had to run errands. I talked to people in the band office and then went to talk to someone about a check I received from NIU. Of course, they had made a mistake and if I had cashed that check, then I would owe NIU more money. So they made the check void. I'm glad. My master promissory note is signed for a loan and all is well there, I think. I also went to visit the marching band. I wanted Jim to get used to the hustle and bustle. he seemed to be startled at first then he settled down. I would like to do this again with him perhaps at the practice field. I know I will be marching next year... I just don't want Jim to be spooked when that time comes. When that was over, we walked back. Jim and I did a lot of walking that day. That was good because I love the crispness of October. Jim needs his booties pretty soon... Wonder when they're coming in... Went to bed fairly early AKA 2 AMish.. LOL - Yes that's early... I forgot to mention, there were stupid people that irked me on my way back from the stadium. A group of people were bypassing me as I was walking back with Jim. I was also on the phone. One of the girls said, "Hey, you should run in front of that girl with the dog... Haha, wouldn't that be funny?" Gosh, the nerve of some people... I hate people sometimes.. I returned to my room and then went and talked with Alicia. We ranted about stuff that was bothering us. She gave me her dog's old harness sign. I washed it three times. One half of it is really clean, the other half is semi dirty... but still dingy... Ah, well that's $20 I'm saving at the current moment.

Friday: Andrea texted me and that's what woke me up. She asked me what was up with the going home situation. I'm staying at NIU after all. Oh well, I wanted to go home for my sister's birthday, but if no one is going to be home, then there would be no point. Andrea met up with me and we chatted and decided we wanted lunch. We ate with Will and Jeff. She went to class at 12:45 PM. I came back to my room and fell asleep. I was so tired. I woke up around 4:30 PM. Sarah invited me to go to Stevenson for dinner. I accepted. We walked all the way to Stevenson. I got some cheese tortellini, 3 slices of cheese pizza, rootbeer, and an apple. I chatted with Sarah and her friends and we had a good time. I meet new people nearly everyday. Yay me... *smile* I ate all but a slice of pizza. I took the rootbeer back with me as well. I waited for the bus and then decided to walk. I didn't see the weekend bus as I was walking. I passed the stadium and heard a marching band. It was Andrea's high school band. LOL - I texted her to find out. It was nearly 8 PM when I got back. I lazied around and before I knew it, it was 11 PM. I showered and it was 11:30 PM. I walked out to Licoln Highway and Anne Glidden to meet Adam. He got lost. Chump - should have called me first... The walk felt good and I thoroughly enjoyed it. We got back to my room and watched some TV and then went to bed. It was chiming 3 AM when I drifted. My sleep was kind of uncomfortable...

Saturday (morning): I am woken up with a hand on my back. It was 7:20 AM and I was awake! What the heck?! I am never awake this early. We watched some Saturday morning cartoons and then I jumped on here to write this amazingly huge post. Did I mention I had some sirloin burger chunky soup by Campbell's? Yep, about to go on a walk... I LOVE the fall... Ahh.. bliss... *smile*

I'll post again soon. (hopefully)
