Move In Day
Aug. 20th, 2008 10:34 pmHere I am sitting in my dorm room. Cozy, yes, I suppose. But I'm annoyed with my TV. It doesn't seem to want to work. I wanted to watch some shows before I went to bed.
Today was quite uneventful. I ate a steak breakfast with my family. We didn't have the steak dinner the night before. So, my mother cooked it for breakfast. It was really good, but hard to consume. We left my house around 10:30 AM and arrived just short of 11:30. Unloading took place and Ryan helped out. My father left first. My mother and sister stuck around. We went to Jewel and bought some stuff. All the moving and box organizing was completed by 1 PM. My mother and sister didn't leave until 3. Overall, I do love them but they really need to give me my space.
Not too long after, I helped Alicia move in, set up her new computer, and came back to my room. I've been here ever since.
Jim's day was good too. He breaked fine! *happy dance* So I found the perfecft spot to take him out. Ironically, it is a handicapped parking space all in itself very near to the entrance of my building. No one seems to use it. Not to mention, anyone who needs the space should have been here today (early move in day). I didn't see anyone as of yet or ever did in the past. Yay for fabulous number 3's!!!
Now I'm almost unpacked... Yay.
I forgot how much I really missed college and it's people. It's not so bad.... I'm not alone.
